Pamela J. Pribisco
Pamela Pribisco, former principal dancer and founding member of the Cleveland Ballet, has been on the faculty of the Joffrey Ballet School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and teaches annually at the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, Massachusetts.
She has served as Company teacher for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and The Metropolitan Opera.
Ms. Pribisco was ballet mistress for the Cleveland Ballet, American Ballroom Theatre, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo. For the “Trocks,” she choreographed and staged numerous pieces in the company’s repertoire, including the highly acclaimed “Tarantella” pas de deux profiled in New York Magazine. Ms. Pribisco was also profiled in The New York Times for her work with the “Trocks”.
For young audiences, she has choreographed original productions of “Peter Pan” for Ballet Romand in Switzerland and “Peter and the Wolf” for Verb Ballets in Ohio. She is creator of “Wigglewords,” a fun fitness program for children featured on PBS and popular in the Cleveland School District.
Ms. Pribisco has written for Pointe Magazine and other dance publications and guest teachers nationally.
