Heather Gill was classically trained in ballet as a member of the professional division of The School of Cleveland San Jose Ballet Company studying under the tutelage of Gladisa Guadalupe, Denis Nahat, Cynthia Graham, and Elena Costanza. She also had the opportunity to train with Ballet Masters from The Bolshoi and Kirov Ballets, The School of American Ballet, and The Royal Academy of Danish Ballet. Miss Gill performed with The Cleveland San Jose Ballet Company and several contemporary ballets and modern dance companies throughout Ohio.
Miss Carson then attended Case Western Reserve University, majoring in Biology, Psychology, and Dance receiving the award for Dance Excellence in Performance. Heather’s molecular lab bench/basic science research in hematology, immunological vaccines, and neuroscience at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute led to her graduate studies in neuroscience and psychology. She next obtained her graduate degree in clinical counseling psychology and now enjoys rewarding work through her private practice focusing on developmental psychology across the lifespan, and mood disorders emphasizing on anxiety, performance anxiety with athletes, and depression. Through her private practice, Heather has particularly enjoyed working with adolescent and young adult athletes training for Olympic qualification in figure skating, gymnastics, and swimming.
First and foremost Miss Gill treasures her roles as wife to Brad and mommy to her little jewels Cameron and Clara, who you may see at the studio from time to time. As a young teenager, Miss Gill began teaching ballet under Gladisa Guadalupe’s guidance and has continued her love of teaching, nurturing, and developing ballet dancers age 2 through adult for the past 20 years. The Cleveland Ballet Family has been woven throughout Miss Gill’s maturation from child and adolescent, young adult, marriage, births of her children, to present. Heather adores being a supportive staff and family member of this elite school and company, cultivating young dancers with big dreams. Miss Gill feels privileged to help support the dancers blossoming into confident artists showcasing their God-given gifts, years of work, and love of ballet!
